Ans. AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) enables you to manage access to AWS services and resources securely. Using IAM, you’ll create and manage AWS users and groups, and use permissions to permit and deny their access to AWS resources.
IAM is a feature of the Amazon Web Services account offered at no additional charge. you’ll be charged just for use of other AWS services by your users.

Q8. What is the AWS WAF?
Ans. WAF protects the online applications that you simply deliver through ELB (Elastic Load Balancer) and CloudFront from attacks by allowing you to configure rules that allow, block, or monitor web requests supported by the condition you define.

Q9. What is Amazon Guard Duty?
Ans. Amazon GuardDuty is a threat detection service that continuously monitors for malicious activity and unauthorized behavior to protect your AWS accounts, workloads, and data stored in Amazon S3. With the cloud, the collection and aggregation of account and network activities are simplified, but it can be time-consuming for security teams to continuously analyze event log data for potential threats.

AWS Config is an AWS service that permits you to assess, audit, and evaluate the configurations of your AWS resources. Config constantly monitors and records your AWS resource configurations and permits you to automate the evaluation of recorded configurations against desired configurations.

Ans. AWS Config makes it easy to trace your resource’s configuration without the necessity for up-front investments and avoiding the complexity of putting in and updating agents for data collection or maintaining large databases. Once you empower AWS Config, you’ll view continuously updated details of all configuration attributes related to AWS resources, you’re notified via Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) of each configuration change.
